WINGBACK DROPCLOTH SLIPCOVER

I started off with a challenge.  My client was told that this chair couldn't be slip covered because of it's grand features.  I wanted to show her that you can slip cover just about anything if you're up for it.  I love a good slip!!

BEFORE

The chair is a "telephone" wing back, but on steroids.  The arms
remind me of an enormous ear.  Lots of poof, but sunken in the middle.  Plus, a curve at the bottom.

It has a great bulbous overhang.  Very manly.   I wanted to soften the lines of the chair to feminize it a bit.

A deep, wide, curved back

So after much planning and designing.  I think the client will love it.

HERE IS THE AFTER

Love that curve.

Ruching on both the chair and the ottoman

Speaking of ottomans. I recently finished this one for another client. She has an amazing sense of style and her home belongs in a magazine . Hopefully I can take pictures soon of this client's home with her new chevron slip covered ottoman.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!
